Vivian Lin is an organic chemist in PNNL’s Biological Sciences Division who develops chemical tools for studying complex biological systems, including human health and plant-microbe interaction models. During her PhD, Dr. Lin developed fluorescent probes for imaging redox active small molecules. As a staff scientist at PNNL, she specializes in the development and application of activity- and affinity-based probes for identifying protein-small molecule interactions and their functional impacts in plant, microbe, and mammalian systems.
